Following my graduation from Microsoft, I made the decision to remain in Tokyo and embark on a venture to establish a startup User Experience consulting company alongside a former Microsoft colleague and friend. In February of 2018, we officially co-founded “Transmethod UX Consulting.”
Pooling our collective experience, we boast over 35 years of expertise in User Experience, spanning various digital platforms such as websites, mobile applications, internal and external omni-channels, as well as conducting site and application audits. Our collaborative efforts aim to assist businesses in resolving intricate user issues and striking a balance with their business objectives, all while crafting compelling user experiences.
Our endeavors have extended to collaborating with both Japanese and global companies, aiding them in enhancing their products and services through improved user experiences. This strategic approach contributes to their success in both the Japanese and US marketplace.
Our Brand?
Fun, Agile, Flexible, Reliable, Professional and Results Driven.
What is UX?
User Experience could quickly be summed up by how people feel about the products or services at the moment they are using them. Through that experience, people are examining and evaluating all of the aspects of your products and services either consciously or unconsciously.
Transmethod understands that excellent User Experience can help make your business more successful and bring higher brand awareness. When done correctly, it gives each customer a much higher sense of satisfaction of the services or products. Customers that enjoy your products or services are more compelled to keep using them and share their experience with others.
“Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely.”
— Auguste Rodin
The Starting Point of The Roadmap
UX Consulting
Consulting is a starting point for any roadmap in a successful partnership. For us to understand your business needs clearly, and for you to understand how user experience can help and expand your business goals, we engage in brainstorming and in-depth discussions, as well as stakeholder interviews, to build a solid vision for our common goal.
Through these discussions, we will create Customer Journey Maps to help determine how the service or product functions in the market and which essential elements best serve your customers. By defining your target users and personas, this process drives your service or product to a more user-centric and more successful conclusion, helping to create and build strategies and solutions, thereby achieving your goals.
Clarity on Your Business Opportunities
UX Strategy
In addition to our research and analysis, we build UX strategies by bringing customer, client and user perspectives together. In clarifying business opportunities with value propositions and service blueprints, we can help your business strategy processes more fully align with your customer’s expectations.
We also create a Features Roadmap to ensure the realization of the most successful strategy for accommodating your business constraints and situations, providing a clear and unique direction to meet your user’s diversifying needs.

Love of Problem Solving
UX Solutions
Historically, it may have been more challenging to find solutions for increasing user engagement or to raise conversion rates. However, our research, heuristic and competitive analysis, site/application and content audit, quantitative survey, and other metric analysis, can quickly turn those difficulties into actionable solutions.
We know simple issues are not always as they seem. In many cases, by implementing an appropriate Solution Roadmap, advantageous adjustments will be made. Design changes and other problems, such as business strategies, organizational conditions, business constraints from external factors, are accommodated individually based on their required level of necessary complexity.
From this holistic process short-, mid-, or long-term Solution Roadmaps can be quickly adapted and adjusted to any change in your business and market factors.

Speak in The Design Language
UX Design
UX design serves as a unique confluence joining your business with your user’s expectations. We understand the critical process of integrating products and services, consolidating all aspects of branding, visual design, usability, and functions.
In our goal to provide a more satisfying and insightful user experience, we work on prototyping expected use cases and scenarios to extract the most relevant user flows. This process also ensures that your business objectives connect with data-driven task analysis and usability analysis.
Through such expert and methodical data resourcing, our UX design service builds its comprehensive design language systems to create consistency across service and product platforms.
By presenting visual identity, unity, and familiarity in your products and services, we can provide ease-of-use for your clients. Our refined deliverables on design language, such as templates and guidelines, will give a clear vision and direction to all team members and accelerate efficiency and development time.
